• Question: Where would you like to be in 5 years time?

      Vancouver, Canada or Auckland, New Zealand. Probably will still be in Whitley Bay though (which is a very pleasant third choice).

      Ooh, in 5 years I’ll be 29 and I have no idea what I’ll be doing. Ideally I’d like to have a job where I can do research half the time and spend half the time on science outreach so giving public talks and going to school to talk to people like you about science. I think I’d also like to be living close to a beach and own at least one dog 😀

      Enjoying life surrounded by good friends and family. As for the science maybe I’ll still be in research but maybe I’ll have move on, who knows???
