Maths and Chemistry which I liked, physics which tortured me. I didn’t study biology until I went to university.

At primary school we didn’t do much science, I remember learning about the parts of the flower but that’s about it! I know that we couldn’t take the higher SATs paper in year 6 because we hadn’t used bunsen burners.

In secondary school I did double science so had physics, chemistry and biology lessons but only took 2 exams. I loved physics and chemistry but just didn’t get biology so ended up hating it. I had to have a tutor for biology so that it didn’t bring my GCSE grades down!
