Question: jen what is your faviourte galaxy and if you could would you visit it?

Ooh that’s a tough one because there are so many awesome looking galaxies around. I really like the nearest spiral galaxy to us which is called Andromeda or M31. I think it’s really cool because it’s similar to our Milky Way galaxy that we are in so by looking at Andromeda we can know more about our galaxy. It would be brilliant to be able to go to Andromeda and look back on the Milky Way. It’s 2.5 million light years away from us though so I don’t think I could make it there!

I also like the galaxy M87 because it looks like a boring regular galaxy at first but actually it’s one of these active galaxies that’s spewing out loads of energy into the universe. One of my favourite pictures of galaxies is probably The Mice which are two interacting spiral galaxies. This is what we think will happen to us and Andromeda one day! There’s too many to choose from! What’s your favourite?
