Hey! Well I’ve answered this question a bit here /cobaltj11-zone/2011/06/how-do-planets-float-in-spacehow-do-you-find-things-out-about-planets but basically the planets in our solar system don’t just float around in space. All the planets are bound to the planet by the Sun’s gravity which is why the planets orbit around the Sun on a fixed path.
