Yeah I get called a nerd and a geek but I embrace it! I actually refer to myself as a geek quite a lot these days. I know that it’s sometimes meant to be an insult but I’m proud to be a nerd 😉

Yes but only by friends who are joking around and I can give as good as I get! Plus geek has become quite chique recently so it is suddenly great to be a scientist.

What do you guys think about the word nerd? Do you think it’s an insult or would you be proud to be called a nerd?

Jen-I think being called a nerd is a good thing because it means that you know lots of information plus the people that are calling you a nerd is probablly jelous that you know so much
