  Big bang I think sounds okay. As for God, I answered a similar question like this: I’m an agnostic. As a scientist we teach students to veer away from proposing theories that cannot be tested and so in that spirit I cannot claim to know that there isn’t a God nor that there is.

  I believe the Big Bang theory, that the universe suddenly expanded very rapidly and then cooled down. However I don’t see the Big Bang as the start of the universe, more as the point in the history of the universe where we no longer understand the physics that is going on. I don’t think anyone can say that they know what caused the Big Bang or what happened before the Big Bang 🙂
