      well, theoretically if a lady became of reproductive age (post puberty) at 13, and you thought of one pregnancy per year until the menopause (which could roughly be 45) then you’re at 33 kids! And that’s assuming that there weren’t any twins!!! Of course, legally, one shouldn’t be pregant before the age of 16 so that takes you down to a more manageable 30 children. In reality, you’d have to be superhuman to be able to do this which is why 1-6 children would be a usual range.
